The Vimy Foundation presents The Great War in Colour: A New Look at Canada’s First World War Efforts – 1914-1918. The First World War was a transformative experience for Canada. While the memory of the conflict and its impact on our collective consciousness is slowly vanishing, these photographs capture our attention. They provide us with a clearer understanding of what the First World War would have looked like to the people who lived it.
A selection of the exhibit’s panels will be installed in the Halifax Central Library’s Lobby and can be viewed between November 21st and December 4th.
Please visit the Library’s website to confirm their operating hours.
